Incomplete.

"A pair of shoes should look good on its own, but it's incomplete until a person wears it."

While I was spring-cleaning my house, I took an extra mile to clean up all my sneakers. There were not many left as I counted one by one, and more than half were already part of my regular beaters.

But I also reckoned I have a few that I don't wear (or rarely wear) already.

I used to collect sneakers, and kept them in mint conditions, and now I just don't see it fit in my future direction. Don't mistaken my words, I still love shoes like I love cook food. I just happened to have a different take on it now. I moved on to a different style.

Special Denim Project: Sugar Cane x Union Star

The other day I was digging folders in my laptop cluelessly and I found something quite interesting:

Thanks to the title spoiler, now it's not surprising anymore.

Yeah, my pair of Sugar Cane Union Star jeans. The exact model is called Sugar Cane Union Star Dungarees SC40065N Unwashed.

I need to explain further about Sugar Cane Co. They are one of the very best jeans producer in the whole wide fucking galaxy. If you'd like to read more on this specific model and the details, read HERE.

This picture was dated back in September 2008, almost three years ago.

I got my hand on this from a friend, my former Komodo Ninja Hype Clan (Rest In Power), Deadmarsh a.k.a Mr. Wong a.k.a Marlboro Wong. We actually traded his SC x US with a beautiful, detailed, my RMC Martin Ksohoh jeans. Exactly this one:

Over 800,000 stitches of embroidery over there

If you find it in Amazon it's going for about USD700, compared to the SC x US jeans is about USD250 only.

Why did I decide to trade with Marlboro Wong anyway? First of all the RMC Jeans was too big for me, especially the waist and thigh, down to the bottom. I bought it because it was exquisite, I loved it but I can't wear it and it's regular cut which means it's baggy. Worst part is I can't alter it due to the embroidery. So the point was pointless.

I just love the 'star' stitching on the back pockets

I am not, in any way, related to ultra-Zionist group

In fact, the SC x US jeans is Relaxed Fit sort of cutting, that means it was slightly baggy too (from thigh downwards). Good thing the waist was fine to me. So I had to do some alterations.

I know, as denimheads would always advise: do not alter your jeans.

I had to. I was never gonna sell it to anyone after I decided to alter it anyway. I rather compromise the so-called 'value' over my personal style and fitting.

Anyway, the main story is not about the price, the value, or the quality of the jeans, those are out of the question.

I have been wearing the jeans for about two years now on and off, without washing it but I do take a good care of it by drying it under hot sun, spray it with Febreeze and what not. Well, whatever you like to say, so much for a fashion statement.

Wanna see how it has turned out to be after two years? Oh, before that, need I remind you that the denim (read the details again HERE) is considered creme-de-la-creme, 14.5-oz Zimbabwe cotton, definitely one tough motherfucker to break.

Jeng jeng jeng:

Woot!

Light whiskers, still need few more years

Devil is in the details, geddit?

Still need some kneel-down situations

Loved the broken stars even more

Broken stars due to heavy spankings

Leather patch after continuous rough sessions

It took almost two years with slightly less-than-regular wear to get the honeycomb. Told ya this pair ain't no pussy, tough motherfucker to break

Still looking good

This is my first unwashed denim project, and things are looking good from the way I see it. Now I'm contemplating whether I should wash it or I should not. Or rather, how should I wash it? I want to achieve the best fades for it. I have to find the best way to do it.

Any reference, valuable advice, anything?

Now that I already have a couple pair of jeans to take the driver seat for now, I can continue my Sugar Cane Wash Project.

The story will come to you soon.

A Week Late.

On behalf of myself, I would like to thank all of you who wished for my joyful birthday, and not to forget those who wished they should have could have would have wished the same thing to me: I thank you too.

I am grateful for all the reminders, of which telling me how many years I have remained on this Earth, and how many years left of the remain.

As for me, I still wish and work for my health, my wealth, and my stealth. It is rather obvious why this was also my last year's wish, and years past. Speaking of classic.

However, I do hope the noble birthday alert by Facebook reminds you of me for the meaningful moment(s) we had together. And I look forward to more meaningful years ahead.

To those who love me, I'm still waiting for my birthday gifts.

Those who hate me, I'm still waiting for my money.

If you see me at Deadmau5, holla at cha boy.

Thanks for the delightful S***R oxford, elegant Kenneth Cole timepiece, sexy Marc Jacob iPhone speaker and trippy DJ RIRI featuring Lucy.

Super Slim?

I was a little bit skeptic when it comes to wearing skinny fit trousers/jeans. I don't mind slim fitting as I'm wearing that fitting currently for quite a while. I mean, I've tried Cheap Monday skinny fit jeans before this but gosh did I look like an idiot. That was about three or four years ago. I never intended to try again after that.

But somehow after some time, I found out that my slim fitting trousers look more loose than I thought. Maybe I lost weight, maybe I don't work out much hence my muscles shrunk, maybe I don't drink enough water. I'm not sure.

So last night I went out to find some trousers for myself.

Look at that!

And for the first time, super slim is the shiznit! I'm gonna stick to that from now on.
